@glenn_joyce wins league and cup double
It was an exceptionally strong finish, which secured @glenn_joyce the overall champion's spot this season. He came from 7 points behind at the start of May to win by a 4 point margin. Special mention to those hashfooterers in silver and bronze positions, (@oh_cinneide and @simoncatlin) who contended right up till the end, making it a very exciting close to the season. The champion's victory was all the more impressive for the fact that he missed out on 13 fixtures across the season.
Road to cup victory
A strong finish in May is one thing, but you need consistent form 7 months running to claim the knockout trophy

Inaugual doubles champions: @connor_nufc & @jb4t00n
From March to May we tried a new doubles knockout format, for which feedback from the 8 pairings has been positive. The team format introduces new strategic concepts of spreading risk or opting for matching predictions for a 6 point opportunity. With 6 points at stake for each game large turnarounds on match-days were an exciting feature of this new format, which will be extended to 32 pairings next season.
Ultimately the victors of the inaugural doubles knockout were @connor_nufc (pictured) and @jb4t00n, who defeated the Rushton brothers (@nickrushton14 and @jrushton90) in the final.
