The Doubles Knockout 2017/2018
This season's doubles tournament will run from January to April 2018. Players partner up and the sum of their prediction scores compete against that of an opponent pairing over a calendar month. No extra effort is required, unless you want to discuss tactics with your partner.
There is room in the doubles knockout for up to 16 pairings. The knockout draw will be made by 1 January 2018.

In the event of a tie...
- the pairing with the greater number of "3 pointers" in the current month is deemed the winner;
- if still tied, the pairing with more points from the previous month is deemed the winner;
- if still tied, the pairing with the greater number of "3 pointers" in the previous month is deemed the winner;
- if still tied, repeat these same tie-breakers for each month before until a winner can be declared
- in the highly unlikely event that a winning pairing cannot be determined, a decision will be made by @downwithdesign, @kirstieh and @gerrymulvenna
